I joined the Seattle Seahawks as a contracted writer in July 2020. My main role is to write the daily “Round-Up” article on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week. In addition to those three stories each week, I am available for extra work whenever it is needed. The extra work includes features and stories on team events held in the community. I also filled in for the Seahawks’ team reporter in November 2020 while he was on paternity leave. During that month, I was the full-time writer for the team from Monday-Wednesday each week. This included writing news stories, analysis pieces and press conference reactions, along with my usual Round-Ups.

This page includes a variety of stories from my time with the Seahawks — Round-Ups, features, community stories and more.

Seahawks general manager John Schneider got to work, hitting the phones and finding an answer. Enter Gabe Jackson, a seven-year starter with the Raiders who helped contribute to a sturdy offensive line in recent years especially. Schneider sent a fifth-round pick to Las Vegas in exchange for Jackson, and suddenly the Seahawks' hole at left guard was filled, though not directly by Jackson, who will stay at right guard, the position he has played for the past five seasons. Instead, second-year guard Damien Lewis will take over at left guard after playing on the right side as a rookie, Pete Carroll said earlier this offseason.
