Care to Discuss?

The “Care to Discuss?” podcast was created by myself and two of my colleagues at The Quinnipiac Chronicle, Peter Dewey and Conor Roche. We began podcasting in February of 2018 before the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Basketball Tournament in Albany, New York.

The podcast idea was sparked with the intention of discussing the Quinnipiac men’s and women’s basketball games each night at our boring hotel room, but it turned into a lifelong connection. After five podcasts in five days at the tournament, we turned it into a weekly show discussing all sports – both Quinnipiac and professional – as well as other random life topics.

We hit our stride that spring and fall, as we had guests on each show. Some of the guests included Baker Dunleavy (QU men’s basketball coach), Nick Shook (Around The NFL writer) and Tyler Brosious (XFL Manager of Digital Content), among others.

The show ran for over 25 episodes from 2018 to 2019, including shows each night at the MAAC Tournament in 2018 and 2019 from the lovely Days Inn Albany.
